The Faculty of Agronomy is located in a quiet neighbourhood, not far from the centre of the town of Čačak. Nearby, there is the Student Residence Hall, Student Restaurant, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Technical College, Fruit Research Institute, Sports Centre (including an outdoor swimming pool, running tracks and sports grounds).
The Municipality of Čačak is located in central Serbia, covering an area of 636 km2.
The central part of the Municipality is the Čačak Valley (200–300 m a.s.l.) cut by the Zapadna Morava River (318 km long) and surrounded by Mts. Ovčar (985 m), Kablar (885 m), Jelica (929 m) and Vujan (857 m).
Čačak has a temperate continental climate, with annual averages for air temperature – 10.47 °C, air humidity – 80.7%, and precipitation – 692.9 mm.
Čačak Municipality has a total population of about 120,000, with about 80,000 people living in the urban area.
There is a well-developed bus and railway network connecting Čačak with key towns and cities in Serbia.
